Dr. Aggarwal started his practice in the year 1991. He established Dr Aggarwal’s Eye Clinic in October 2007 at Moti Nagar, New Delhi as an outdoor clinic which was expanded a year later into a surgical facility.

The Clinic provides Comprehensive Eye Care both Medical and Surgical. We strive to deliver good patient care and the clinic is equipped with modern infrastructure to deliver state-of-the-art eyecare in a patient friendly environment.Our emphasis over the years has also been to create an atmosphere of personalised care. The Directorate of Health Services, Govt. of NCT at Delhi has registered the facility as a Single Speciality Nursing Homefor Eye care (Day Care Centre).

Dr Aggarwal did his Graduation (MBBS) from J N Medical College, AMU, Aligarh in December 1984 and then his Post-graduation (MS) in Ophthalmology in January 1988 from AMU Institute of Ophthalmology, Aligarh. He was awarded the Degree of FRCS (Glasgow) and admitted to the RSCP Glasgow College as a ‘Fellow Qua Surgeon’ in July 2012. He joined Mohan Eye Institute as a Senior Registrar in January 1988, which followed with a Consultancy position in the discipline of Glaucoma in April 1991. He honed his clinical and surgical skills under the guidance and blessings of Padma Bhushan Dr Hari Mohan Ji. In January 1993 he joined the NSPB Eye Hospital at Moti Nagar, a unit of NSPB-India having its head office in Dr R P Centre, AIIMS at New Delhi as its Chief Eye Surgeon.

RECEPTION AND WAITING LOUNGE

We understand that the Patient’s and their attendants FIRST impressions are an important part of human interaction and an insight into the work environment as well. We have taken due care to provide a Reception cum Waiting Lounge with a Nursing station that is Comfortable, Clean and Hygienic, to WELCOME our Patients – allowing them to have positive vibes, feelings and impressions as they enter our Centre for the first time and thereafter. Basic emergency equipment is provided for in the area.

OPD

The outdoor clinic has a compact work station where the equipments are ergonomically placed for a seamless examination. It is equipped with a Refraction Unit, Chart Projector, Auto Ref-Keratometer, Auto-Lensometer, Slit-Lamp with an Applanation Tonometer, Indirect Ophthalmoscope, Biometer, Corneal Topography and Aberometery Unit. Synaptophore is also available for Eye exercises. There are four Consultation chambers. Protocols for examination have been defined based on different age groups so that an abnormal deviation is not missed.

IPD

The Clinic has an Indoor Complex Reception cum Nursing station to admit the patients requiring surgery. It has a waiting area and two beds for post operative facility. It has limited pantry services and facility for drinking water.

OT ANNEXE

The Clinic has an OT ANNEXE for minor outdoor procedures, pre-anaesthesia assessment and local anaesthesia to the patients undergoing surgery. It is completely equipped with anEmergency Crash Cart and monitoring systems.

SURGERY

The Clinic has an Operation Theatre Complex that conforms to standard protocols. It has facilities for General anaesthesia withthe requisite emergency equipment. The operation theatre has a regular maintenance and sterilisation regime. It is equipped with a Leica Operation Microscope with X-Y control and a Alcon LegionCold Phaco-emulsification machine. The operation theatre has a standby Phaco-machine Turbovit and a Flash Autoclave. All types of the eye micro-surgical procedures are undertaken at the clinic.

Cataract Surgery

We have the cutting-edge technology for Micro-Incision Cataract Surgery (MICS). Cataract surgery is done by Cold-Phaco-emulsification technology, no stitches (unless indicated for technical reasons) under local or topical anaesthesia. We use IOL’s from the top notch Companies like Alcon, Bausch & Lomb, Rayner etc at affordable costs. Surgical expertise for Premium IOL’s where there is minimal dependence on glassesis available. Facility for Refractive Lens Exchange is also available. The emphasis is on quality and 24x7 post-operatives cares. Help is just a call away.

Patient Safety

The WHO has given great importance to patient safety. We believe that Patient safety is a critical component of quality. Adequate arrangements have been made so that patients are safe from accidental injury. Patients are free to express their apprehensions, make efforts to understand and participate in the decision-making process. Care is taken to educate the patient and their attendants with respect to treatment schedules and methodology. The Clinic is equipped with Cardiac Monitors, Pulse Oximeters, Cardiac Defibrillator and emergency medicines to tackle any medical emergency.

Optical Services

The Clinic-in-house Optical Services help you look perfect with the spectacles and contact lenses. A reasonable range of lenses, glasses and frames, both national and international, are available here. An emphasis on accuracy and high quality makes shopping for your visual aids a pleasant experience.

Support Systems

The Clinic is fully air conditioned and electricity back-up is available in case of power cuts. There is provision for safe drinking water and a limited pantry service available on request. The Clinic is disabled friendly.
